Faltam apenas alguns dias para que as maiores estrelas de Hollywood desçam a Los Angeles para o Oscar – sem dúvida a cerimônia de maior prestígio para cineastas nos EUA.
Com hoje a assinalar-se o Dia Internacional da Mulher, não poderia haver melhor altura para destacar todos os talentos femininos nomeados para os Óscares deste ano, desde protagonistas como Cate Blanchett e Ana De Armas, à figurinista Ruth Carter e à editora de cinema Monika Willi.
Antes da cerimónia deste ano, 61 mulheres figuraram na lista de nomeações, quer tenham sido homenageadas pelo seu desempenho individual num filme ou como parte de uma equipa nos bastidores.

Liderando o grupo com mais indicações para 2023 está Everything Everywhere All at Once, com nomes como Michelle Yeoh (Melhor Atriz), Jamie Lee Curtis (Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante), Stephanie Hsu (Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante) e Shirley Kurata (Figurino) hasteando a bandeira para as mulheres naquela produção A24.
Uma estrela mais surpreendente que apareceu na lista de indicações este ano foi Andrea Riseborough, que concorre ao prêmio de Melhor Atriz graças à sua atuação em To Leslie e à campanha boca a boca de Cate Blanchett, Edward Norton e Gwyneth Paltrow.
All Quiet on the Western Front e The Banshees of Inisherin estão empatados com nove indicações cada, com Kerry Condon (Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante) e Lesley Paterson (Melhor Roteiro Adaptado) se destacando em seus filmes dominados por homens.
Enquanto isso, é uma ocasião importante para Stephanie Hsu, que é uma das muitas a receber sua primeira indicação ao Oscar este ano, ao lado de nomes como Ana De Armas, de Blonde, e Hong Chau, de The Whale.
Quanto aos bastidores, Mary Zophres, da Babilônia, Ruth Carter, do Pantera Negra, e Catherine Martin, de Elvis, estão entre os indicados para Melhor Figurino, enquanto as mulheres também dominam a categoria Maquiagem e Penteado, com Naomi Donne, do Batman, recebendo um aceno de cabeça de a Academia.
